Alma Kehler, 100, widow of Alex, of Lincoln, died Monday, July 27, 2009. She was born October 12, 1908 to Emil J. & Clara H. (Ladwig) Mallau in Waco, NE. She was a wireman for 16 years for Western Electric. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Family Includes: Son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Jean Kehler, Lincoln; daughters & son-in-law, Eunice Kahl, Lincoln, Joan & Russell Mantz, Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday (7-31-2009), with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m., at Metcalf Funeral Home 245 North 27th St., Lincoln, NE. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 12th & H Street, Lincoln, NE, with Pastor Jerome Rossow officiating. Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to the church or family.
