Delores F. Allen, 63, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She was born February 17, 1946 in Lincoln, NE to Nolan & Maxine (Samuelson) Waggoner. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always involved with her kids activities. She loved children and ran her own daycare. She was also a hairdresser she had worked at Jo's and The Classics Salon before moving her business to her own home. Family Includes: Husband, Richard Allen, Lincoln; daughters, Olinda Wylie, Amy Green, Melissa Johnson, all of Lincoln, Rachel Hulbert, Seward, NE; 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Patrick. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday (8/9/2009) at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th St, Lincoln, NE 68503. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 11th & Garfield, Lincoln, NE with Pastor William Hunter officiating. Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
